Jen (JJ to her friends) is a middle aged woman living in a millennial world. Â She was married, then divorced, and now lives the single life. Â She works a 9-5 job, volunteers with an organization dedicated to the well being of children, and she eeks out time to write somewhere in-between all that. Â She’s obsessed with Giraffes.
2018 means Jen is 42, and she honestly can’t believe it. The wonders of modern medicine put her in menopause before most of her friends her age, and it’s given her a unique (and altogether sarcastic) perspective. Â Jen’s evolution includes her views on politics, people, life, leadership, animals, writing, and work. Â All these ideas are evolving every day, and she hopes someday her evolution will evolve into a published book, or eight.
Speaking of books, she’s written two and has another fleshed out.  Jen writes mysteries with strong female characters.  She loves to incorporate her friends as characters in her books.  So be nice in the comments, and down the line, you may read a book and say “Hey, that’s me!”.  She’d also like to note that the word ‘Published’ doesn’t accompany the word ‘author’ in this bio.  Changing that would make her day.
Jen was born, raised, and currently lives in Minneapolis, MN.
